Ok, that lume mix is pretty crazy. Can I ask what equipment you use to do your lume jobs, and more specifically, how do you keep the sharp edges on these applied markers?
Using fine oilers at the moment, so appears that I just need patience, practice and a steady hand. Do you use a single layer of lume on the dial, or multiple layers? How long would you say it took you to do that dial?
consider acrylic based product shrinks
Lume looks like it has been done by a 3 years old, but other than that it looks pretty good!
One thing for sure is when RolexAddict speaks, he knows the truth about those watches. He only builds the the absolute best GMT vintages.
I wish I could afford to have him build one for me.
I like it so much I cleaned it up a little and made myself a desktop out of itAhh I hope you dont mind.
The lume looks like it was done by a fifty three your old with 33years of skill and experience behind him.
Absolutely Stellar work and also kudos on the end result - Full marks for this one
Can you imagine what a re-lume would look like if you ACTUALLY did give it to a real three year old to do LOL
LOL i'm sure he regrets making the 3 year old comment now guys, everyone says dumb things sometimes.
