Hi all !

A new guy from Japan here ^^

I came to this very recently and I've been browsing a lot to figure out that what I used to think before was a galaxy far far away from the reality I see in this forum, a lot of passionate guys (any girls ?) about nice watches and the real quality reps seems to have now. Well I haven't have any but hope this should be just a matter of time to get a nice timepiece (I have a preference for GMT's). By the way, a big thank for the valuable pieces of information about scam sites and other bad stuff :)
In Japan, customs tend to be very severe regarding parcels from China (even if some TDs say it ain't so...) so I I'll check anyway what are the real risks here before making the next step, but I guess this is more or less the same everywhere, right ?
Japan is a very nice place to live (I am in Tokyo)... now they cut off all the nuclear plants here :-D

Cheers

konichiwa bro, sucks about the customs. But at least you can go window shop all the beautiful boutiques in Tokyo!

Yeah I know, that Fukushima thing still a real danger. We don't know how all this is gonna end... maybe we'll be all a new kind of Bruce Banner here :) oh, by the way I think I won't need lume for my new watch, I am superlume myself !
Nevertheless, let's stay positive and... radicaoctive ?

@trailboss99 : I m working there, for quite a long time.

@investinwaffles
Hello ! it depends on what you are into. as for tourism, if you stay only in Tokyo then I recommend you visit Asakusa on the day and maybe Roppongi district for the night life
if you like modern architecture, then Shinjuku would be a good option. and if you want to do some watches window shopping (new and used), try Ueno and Okachimahi (you might even get duty free as a tourist :)
