so i was working at the bar........
i see this guy sitting, having a beer
i realized that he is wearing a breitling chrono matic 1461
limited edition of 500 i guess, preaty cool sporty watch.
so i tell him :
nice breitling! did you get it from the watch store at 5th AV.?
he was like yeah! i just got it right now! the lady at the store gave me a really
good deal on it.
she sold me the watch for a little over 6k , and the original price was like 10k

i am like , wow , it is! a really good price!!
u cant even find that price online! a cool different watch , and limited to 500 units , u cant go wrong with that ,

the guy was preaty cool and gave me the watch for me to take a look ,

i realized the chronos were running ,
i was like, u got the chronos running eh?? he didnt know wtf i was talking about
in fact he didnt know shit about the watch , he didnt know that the watch had a chrono, or date, or day and month.
so i was explaining to him , how to start, stop and reset the chrono in a proper way, and showed him the split second- date split hour-month and minutes- day
he was like , wow! u know better than me !
but can u let the big red hand runn?? i like it that way
im like OK :biglaugh:

this was the watch.

SO HE WILL KEEP THE CHRONO RUNNING FOR EVER! WTF GO AHEAD! u paid for it ! enjoy it the way u want it !

ohh he also said something that i think it was really funny
he was like , i didnt wanna buy a rolex! everyone has 1 and they are kind of boring .
im like ! **** yeah!! plus look at all the features u have on ur watch?
more for less!! and only 500 people in the world have that watch , for little over 6k u did a good job!
he was happy

well my friend , i was surprise becouse he paid over 6k
1. i told him that the girl at the watch store should tell him about how to operate the watch and how to change the date, day, month
i know her and she knows everything about it, she is not just a seller.
the guy said , well yeah she didnt explain anything.

2. it was the first time i saw that watch in my hands , so when i saw the 2 hands on each , seconds, minute and hours , it was logic for me that besides chrono function it had day, date, and month

so if u buy a 6k watch , at least u gonna be curios right?

I can tell you that the when I boought my Breitling Bentley at my AD, I didn't stick around for the training seminar. I wanted the watch, and I was out of there. I do agree, that they should've asked him if he knew how to use the damn thing. But hey, at least he got a great deal on it !

At the risk of sounding cynical, there's probably a good reason why that thing is limited to 500 units. They probably couldn't get more than that many people to buy one. I think it's one of the ugliest breitlings I've ever seen. But I know... tastes are tastes, and it might just be me...

Breitling are watches that people either love , or hate. There's usually not much of an in between opinion on them. I've always liked them.

When I first heard about the Bentley for some reason I thought it was exclusive to Bentley owners...Then Dave explained to me otherwise...Dude taught me a lot actually, now that I think of it.

yeah i know , i told him the chrono is just a feature , and now u have it running , he said :

so he was now even sure how to start the chrono even after i told him 3 times :lol1:
