We often pass by and even visit the ADs when we go to any new place. If you have photos of them, outside or inside the dealer, let's post them here.

It will be. I noticed many of us go to different places from time to time. 'Though I figure it will be buried in the threads from time to time, it would be a good reference to everyone who will go to the same area. Some ADs are actually cooler, like one beside a Ferrari store. :golf:

Here the ADs don´t let you take pictures, as the fear of robberies is all over the place... if you try to take pics, the security will promptly reach to you and ask to put your camera down.

Nice! Very different in that it is open. Most of the ADs I've been to usually have doors, even those located at the malls. Which part of Brazil is that?

Those I posted previously are not in Brazil =) I just gathered the pics from the net.


Here in Brazil (in São Paulo) we have these ones:
"Rolex Space" Corsage: (located in one of the most exclusive shopping malls of the country)

"Frattina": (at the brazilian Rodeo Drive = Av. Oscar Freire) [This one is an official dealer for 18 luxury watch brands]

...and there are a couple more, but I couldn´t find decent pics of them to post.

I was in Dubai last year and there's a Rolex AD in the airport. I'll see if I have a pic.

have you went in to take a look? This AD is notorious for charging high premiums above list price (for sports models). I am sure we all know that most sports models like the Sub and Daytona are commanding a premium over list price in Asia due to no or limited stock most of the time. At least in SIN, where the stock is tightly controlled and dealers are given a handful of sport models every batch delivery. I went in to look once (last month) and saw a rare sight of a DSSD, Sub C- LN/LV, Daytona SS Black/White, Explorer 1 and 2 Black/White all seated in the same show case. Now this is something that is as rare as a blue moon. SIN bros would agree with me. Almost everytime a popular sports model comes in, it would gone in a flash. You would almost never see all of these models sitting together.

A DSSD was for sale in Heathrow T3 for months. Think it is gone now, but it was not flying out, so to say.

The salesman was very keen to show it to me on one occation ......... not knowing that I had one in my pocket I only took off to enter the shop ....

Looked good and felt nice. Almost as good as my rep:lol:

@mrsimple: Yeah, mate. That Rolex AD in the casino kinda charges steeper prices. Funny, because the other branded watch stores along that indoor street is pretty competitive in pricing. I checked out a NOS Breitling Superocean Chrono that nets at S$5,000 (roughly US$3,900 only). That's an attractive price. But I had a GREAT time in Singapore, definitely!

Hong Kong is the cheapest I've checked so far for gens. And the sellers don't take offense if buyers low-ball/haggle for cash transactions. Just make sure you're serious in buying when you haggle or else. You just have to be pretty knowledgeable in what you're looking for.
