This is a very worthy thread and is precisely what we were talking about the other day........

I hate to be the person who now, after 6 pages of ^^^ that stuff to go all serious but I've just got to.

This forum has been a breath of fresh air. I've been on replica watch forums for better than 10 years and of course, this one since the beginning and this is the one place where you wont find a question as a first post and then 10 pages of pontificating the same response over and over as if it were yahoo answers. I'm sure you guys have run into a forum or two where this occurs. I dont think we have the attitude here where we have to continuously remind everyone how much we know and try to one up the author of the previous post.

Ohh... and we dont have moderators or administrators that have a quota to meet to continuously remind forum members how we are the most mature, smartest, best, forum ever, and then have 30 people stroke our penis cuz it means something???? and follow their heros like lemmings right off that pathetic cliff.

Hi Greg, not wanting to high jack your post but many on here don't have there setting to '40 post per page', makes reading easier.

Go to user CP

Settings and Options

Edit Options

Scroll down to Thread Display Options

Then click drop down menue on 'Number of Post To Show Per Page'. Select 40.

I've been here for 4? 5? years now? It is on and off, as life events oull me away for a while. I always seem to find my way back to the freat people of this board. I am a member of several other rep forums, but you will rarely see me post in them. This is my home. The atmosphere of RWI is a lot different than that if the other forums. People here (for the most part) are genuinely kind and helpful and don't have to prove that they have online balls the size of boulders. No matter what life event pulls me away, the people of this forum will always draw me back some day.

D4M, R2 and TB have been supporting this forum forever, guys like Guru, LMR an Coldi were vets here when I first joined the board; and have become, to me, great online friends and mentors of the trade. And for that I will always be grateful, and they will always have my support here on this forum.

I haven't been here half as long as you, but I take inspiration from your words.

The running of this place is flawless, and yes, a huge thank you to the guys that govern this forum. And also to the long standing members who's guidance and friendship I've been honoured to accept during my time here. They know who they are and I sincerely hope that they stick around.

The old boys make this forum what it is.
