Can i swap 4183 with a Asia ETA 2824-2 movement

Hi, everyone! just want to ask if i can swap a 4813 movement wit a Asia ETA 2824-2 on my 42mm PO

You'd need new hands that fit an ETA, a different movement holder, and the feet on the dial would have to be cut off.

Why are you considering the swap? I am thinking about a 4813 PO myself because I want a hi-beat sweep, but wanted to keep the cost down. However, if there is a problem it would be useful to know.

The 4813's a cheap mov't to replace. If you want to keep the cost down initially and in the long run (like if a mov't goes bad), it's still a good way to go.

yeah I have the 4813 PO but I am thinking to replace it with that seagull st move't same specs with an eta 2824, is this possible? otherwise where can I get a movement holder for an eta 2824-2?

I'm contemplating on swapping coz i think i broke something inside the 4183 while winding. The stem has become sticky unable to wind on its first position
