I have had good results using 1500 grit sandpaper, followed by Meguiar's PlastX clear plastic cleaner and polish. Available at Auto Parts stores.

thanks for your input. any other suggestion? I'm thinking 1500 grit is just too soft. but I'll give it a try.

This really depends on how deep the scratches are. You need to start with a sandpaper that is coarse enough to remove the scratches, and then use progressively finer sandpaper to build up a smoother finish.

I know that. but, what I want to know is what grit that you use to make it looks like gen finish. obviously different sand paper grits produce different results.

I would suggest you just try to match the finish of the rest of your watch, the gen finish is finer than that of the replicas, and it would look strange if your bezel has a finer finish than the rest of your watch. A full rebrushing of the Nautilus sounds like quite a bit of work, at the very least, one would need to disassemble the watch head in order to rebrush the part of the case below the bezel correctly.
