I don't want to re-kindle the fire but I went with him back in Nov of 2011 and he did great work swapping a Gen dial and bezel for me. However, I received the watch back in less than adequate packaging and that resulted in a crystal with horribly scratched AR. He hasn't been helpful in fixing this and never apologized or owned up to it being his fault. Find another guy to do the work!!

I guess I can just be happy that I never rolled the dice and sent something to him. Plenty of other good watchsmiths around that aren't middle men. It's disappointing he was feigning so much to get in people's confidence.
BTW... How bad is it that the OP of the SA club doesn't have an SA anymore? lol
Yay, my black Super Avenger left Uk today. Man i hope i get it till friday afternoon. I'll go skiing next week and i don't want my new beast to wait at the post office for me 
Edit: nice leather strap also on the way. I'll open a thread comparing the SA to the skyland avenger, since I'm missing a little comparison regarding the size. I'm really curious how big this beast really is

yay, just got my SA and mounted it on a brown leather strap
love it, just love it. only two things: the rotor is noisy and the bezel doesn't fit very tight, if i tap on it i can hear it click but well, i think i can fix this.

My V3 does this as well. I think a gen click spring will help
Ok thanks, sure a better fix than wrap a dental floss or something under the bezel.
Is there a way to waterproof the v3(at least for swimming, not for diving ect.)? i think i read something about epoxy the the bezel to the case or so?

The hour indexes look really different on that one. ^^^^^^
The V3 is 3 piece instead of 2, so it's harder to waterproof, but it can be done. At least a couple members said they've had success with it.
