Should I start to worry about my purchase?

I recently purchased my second replica after not purchasing one in five years. I bought from a TD after researching for some time on the forums.

I sent my money and QC pictures were emailed to me after a day. I approved them and the item was to be mailed out with the tracking number shown in the pictures. His email responses were great as he replied within the next day to all my questions.

Well, I have been checking the tracking of the package since but nothing has been shipped according to EMS and USPS websites. I have since emailed twice and with no response within three days.

I do not wish to out the dealer since I am not sure if I am overreacting.

Should I be worried or be more patient?

Thanks.

I would be more patient. Sometimes the tracking websites are very very slow to update.

Hi, have you checked EMS China? Because in my case, when I checked my country local post office, it was written that no package was registered under the tracking number provided by the dealer. That until I checked EMS China. The package remained in China for around 2 days (in my case). The local post office will have the package info after the package arrived in your country.

Really you're panicking over nothing mate. EMS tracking is so unreliable I would just forget about it. If the package hasn't shown up at your doorstep within 2-3 weeks then I would start worrying. I don't even check tracking any more. Once it's been posted it's out of the dealers hands until you can confirm that something has gone wrong.

It's also not unusual for EMS to take several days to update, or even some dealers who will issue a tracking number for you but not actually post it for a few days afterwards. They will have an issed bunch of numbers, wait until they have a rake of parcels to go to the post office and do it all at once. Either that or have a shipping agent come by every few days to pick up whats heading out.

Bottom line, don't panic man. Relax.

If it wasn't there within 48 hours of payment, I would demand a 30% refund as compensation for the delay, along with a written apology and admission of their incompetence.

For tracking the different carriers out of China I got recommended 17track.net
The are quite fast and worth a try...

...then post the apology and admission here...so we can go on and on for 10 or 12 pages defending either you or the poor dealer...jk

My rule of thumb - always worry about purchasing reps and sending money to China, but don't worry others about it.

Stoptime, you have to be way more patient. You even send me already several PM,s about this dealer and I've told you several time to be patient. So, now be patient, your PAM will come.

30% is not enough, for me. No sir.

I'd ask for 51% to be refunded immediately and a 20% discount coupon to be applied to my Seiko purchase from Amazon. That along with a picture of their "factory" since we can't find one at the moment. And that letter and stuff.

That would make me happy.
