New to reps, need help on Rolex :)

Hi everyone, was introduced to this forum by a friend of mine. He highly recommend me to read through before purchase, and Im trying.

Since I told him I am looking for a rolex sub, he recommended me a clone 2836 noob factory rolex from timeshop:

I tried researching on the forum regarding this sub but was overwhelmed by the information and that got me confused instead.

My question here is, how good is this rep? Of course I don't expect a 1:1 at $120, but would love to know how acceptable is it on the standard of "good rep"

Very good. The noobs are a damn good rep and a steal for the money.
If you want any better you are looking at well over 500 and TBH you probably won't see the difference.

Welcome to our forum..and your friend steered you in the right direction...however you are not the first to read first and be overwhelmed. The good news is, that noob mariner your looking at TS is a great rep, the reason there is a noob version of a lot of reps is simple, its a great deal, helluva watch, and will blow you mind just how GOOD it really is.....dont read too much into all the anal nick picky "tells" of these reps. I have been doing this a long time and I love wearing a bone stock, 21j, stock lume noob mariner...and so can you man.

Buy it, wear it with confidence and enjoy.

Welcome to R.W.I. The noob subs are a great deal for the money I highly recommend them. Again they're not perfect but a steal for the price.

Here's a clone ETA noobmariner. It was originally a LV, but I swapped a black WM insert into it. Other than that it is stock. Extremely good rep, the next step up is much more expensive for very little difference.

Another good out of the box rep is the GMT IIc.

The cheaper version seems to have the SS bezel.
Did anyone tried purchasing the one with the ceramic bezel?
They put a note that they cannot guarantee the center of the pearl, I wonder how bad that is? Or maybe I should stick with the SS?

Any input on this?
