PureTime issue - not happy.(resolved)

Well its been about 8 months and the saga with my Bell BR02 has come to end.

No watch.....no money. :(

Puretime sent me a piece of non-functioning garbage back in July. When I let them know that it was not working correctly(would not wind or run for more than an hour) they asked me to get it fixed here. I took it to a local watch smith and they said they would have to take it apart to find the problem. The cost being about double what I paid for it. After notifying purtime what the cost would be they finally agreed to have me send it back. I followed their return instructions to the letter, sending it back by Canada Post. 3 months had passed and I heard nothing. When I inquired about it they said they had not received it. Canada post said it was delivered. So in the end Puretime is washing their hands of the problem. OH they did say they would give me a %10 percent discount if I wanted to buy another one from them.......are they f.......g crazy or what?

DO NOT BUY FROM PURETIME.(resolved......dealt with Angus.....its all good.)

Four years here and still don't know how it works hey?
Why have you not contacted a moderator about this? We would have had it
sorted a long, long time ago. That would have been to easy tho huh?

It's pretty silly that it requires an admin at a forum to get puretime to provide proper customer service.

It doesn't but it helps when things go wrong, that's why we are here.
Once you have been here for a while you may begin to understand how it works.

Absolutely right! That's what the staff do, they sort things out when problems appear.
If you have contacted them, you would already have the watch on your wrist...

Anyway you were from the unlucky ones, but still you should have contacted somebody.

No it isn't! We are dealing with items that are illegally made, illegally traded and illegally shipped in most cases.

It is naive to assume "proper customer sevice" on a par wih Walmart or Amazon is or even should be a norm in these transactions.

The team and supporting community here are working together to, hopefully, achieve satisfactory results. If you think you can guarantee anything like it from one of the many websites that will sell you "genuine swiss copies" then give it a try.

Report back for us though!

I too am guilty of immediately starting the blame game my first time here, which did not work to my favor. Your best bet was to have contacted the mods immediately when things got awry. It may not be too late. Angus is a champ and he'll make things right. We understand your frustration but it's best to not write such reviews for vendors who are supporting our hobby and making it possible without having to fly 18 hours over the pacific ocean.

I can understand that objection. I´m not so long here but the 1st I learned was if I have problems with a seller contact a mod. But nevertheless why does it always need the pressure of RWI to handle like a trustful German trader ;-) Unfortunately that seems to be oldschool more and more

Sorry deckert99, Jennifer has told me about this. We really didnt receive your watch and we asked you for the tracking number of the package and you could not supply. And how did you check with the Canadian Post if you dont have the tracking number and how can I check here in China? You at least give me something to check this package for you. I have no info about the shipping.
At this point I will consult the admin and I will do what they need me to do.

I agree, as a trusted dealer they should take full responablity of this problem and fix it a long time age. They should thrive to have better customer service and in the end that would help every one.

I mean it's silly that someone who isn't part of forums like these (RWI and ect) will not get the same customer service as those who have admins to help us.

I understand trusted dealer are basically getting advertisement on these forums and if they want to keep TD status they need to reply to admins. So basically those who are not members of forums wont get help. Is that right?

dopes i really cant see what is your problem... why you have a problem with the way the help is given, i really want to take your side but you have done two big mistakes

1.Not asking for help from mods, thats why they are here, if you have a problem like this send them an email and you will get as much help as possible.
2.No tracking number? Come on, i even send a dial with registered mail. The same way you accuse PT of bad communication, which i totally agree with you, the same way he can accuse you that you didn't ship any watch...

My 2 sents here, i am sure the problem will be solved in the next hours as usual...

I am not sure about other dealers but I always treat my customers the best way I can, it is not I only offer better customer service to a customer if they contacted the admins but the admins are helping us to solve things in a faster and better way.

Seems to me with your logic: wait 8months and try to fix this myself with no avail.....why the hell even be a forum member? Why even post a bad review? Why not just buy a watch from any online smuck?

Half the point of this forum is to have "Help" when you need it!

The longer I'm here the more of this I see the more I start to have no heart for this thinking and action. Call me what you will, I could care less, but its ignorance not pride in these situations, and only reflects a foolish thinking.

These BS reviews keep poping up and the only reason they had a issue was because they didnt follow the system laid out before them.

Without a tracking number what is Angus supposed to do? How does the OP know it was delivered if he has no tracking? If you have the tracking please supply it to both the admins and Angus.

Even so, if you return goods for warranty with any company and you can not provide proof of delivery to said company what exactly do you expect them to do about it? Name me one company that will compensate for loss of a return in the post.

I have no idea what CS PT provide to off forum customers and it's none of my concern.
You do realise what you are buying and from where don't you?

I understand how help is give here. Its great, I dont get wrong. I love it.

I just feel sorry for those people who have not joined communities like ours and are may not be given the same customer attention. =[ And it's usually the employers who respond to the emails who will brush off people with problems, even more so when they don't mention they are from a watch replica forum.

Angus is a good guy, if he got the emails I'm sure he would have sort out the problem sooner. :]

I hope I don't sound like I'm hating. :frusty:
