Dude if you flash around how much you have to spend, every dealer, member (scammer), and their mothers will be offering you the best sub, use your head, ya dope.
Yeah all of a sudden I got a dozen pm's from dealers trying to sell me their $100 website listed watches for $220

Think Sub4me has had a bad meal...
The answer to your question is in my opinion to be found in the Rolex department. It is most analysed brand around and is made in high volumes. The little tells we all analyse to death for a Sub would be paradise to someone looking for a Breguet.
If you look beyond the usual suspects like Submariner and GMTII, something like a DayDateII with an Asian 2836 movement would be a pretty good and high class rep.

Thanks for the educated answers. That sub oke was apparently having a slow day.
I know that a lot of the manual pams are in that range. The omega po non swiss. I have been researching the big pilot a lot too which seems like a good buy for the price. Ulysse maxi's also a nice watch and the dssd's have been catching my eye too for quite some time. Just a bit concerned about watches with bezels since my PO as a the paint seemed rather volatile and scratches showed easily.
Also I'm tending towards the more subtle brands as I'm still at varsity and a rolex would be questioned a lot but most people wouldn't know an iwc, pam ulysse etc.
And even after narrowing it down to say the iwc big pilot I still spend hours being anal about which is better between the 5002 and 5004 hence me looking for opinions through this thread.

Try Andrew - Trusty...pick the one w A21j...before there is one around low $200 but has same case, band, etc as the $300 one... check it out...
Agreed! Highest I would pay for an a21j is $125... Has prices risen that much???
