@rsh: The CG length is perfect. So is the area where the crown hole is. Don't worry about it.

BK do you think the WM bezel insert would fit fine? Or gen only?

Update:

This is a rep insert with a WM pearl installed....it snaps in fairly easily so I added a tiny bit of epoxy

Crystal looks much better IMO

Am I seeing that wrong or does the engraving not quite match up with the dial on the rehaut? That's a pretty bitchin' looking watch. You going to keep this one Dude?

The engraving lines up almost perfectly, I dont even care and will shave it off soon anyways.....too many darn projects right now. TC tells me he will shave off the rehaut at an extra cost, makes sense, it is work.

I don't think a crystal press will work installing a gen insert. From previous experience I've found you have to start the insert and work your way around till you just have a small section to pop in. Then put the remaining edge on a piece of wood upside down and press that last edge in. Sometimes it takes a lot of force before you hear that little "snap".

A crystal press would more likely just have a tendency to flatten the insert.

V series case
TC's "v2" strap
1.8mm crystal
2824 movement
superlumed dial

I will let the pics do the talking and make some comments a bit later when I get a chance to look at it a bit more

Went back to this only now rsh and I observed that your sel is different from mine. I now realized what you were saying that yours is a bit loose as shown above. Mine has a better fit with very little play. Have you asked TC about this?

So the watch is going to be torn apart very very soon and the rehaut engraving will be removed. Should be easy. I do not want a sterile case though so I asked for the case with engraving. TC is kind enough to send me a new strap this week so I am curious to see how it fits. My guess is that this particular case was cut a bit wide between lugs. I have a bunch of wider noob straps and none could fill the gap. It is not like its letterman's front teeth but we are aiming for almost gen and this was not it.
