I have a dirt cheap 36mm Explorer I and while I always liked the look of it, the size has never been quite right. So I ordered the new 39mm version from one of our dealers and it landed this morning. I like it a lot and it'll spend the day on my wrist. :)

Cool Rooster, I love the Explorer I.

I prefer the 36mm, but the new model is more contemporary. Congrats and wear it well.

New, Old 201 again today. Whomever did the vintage work on this was great.

Pics really don't do this one justice.
The case has a hand hammered wok look and feel to it.

Actually, I do like the 36 mm a lot too. But as soon as I put it on my wrist it looks funny. I think my wrist size needs at least 39mm plus. Anything below it makes me look like I'm wearing something pulled out of a box of breakfast cereal. It's a terrible curse for someone who loves vintage watches!!

...and for me it´s just the opposite!

As I have small wrists, I can´t wear anything bigger than 41mm or it will look like it´s a wallclock on a strap for me.
Love the Explorer I 36mm too, and even owned one for 1 week, but was unable to wear it. I was unlucky to get one that had 1 more "fixed" link on the bracelet, thus resulting on the impossibility of resizing the bracelet accordingly to my wrist.
...Removed all the links, micro-adjusted it to the tightest position, and watch was still spinning on my wrist.

This watch was sold to Max, which gave good use to it...

Later on I´ll try to find a good one for me that actually fits my wrists...

Cheers,
Spirit.
