Im planning to remove the movement from my PAM and that will be my first time, so I thought i better make sure Im right before I screw it up.

1) To remove the stem+crown, do I unscrew the stem fastener at the wind position, or the time setting position?

2) To put the stem back, I just insert it back and screw it?

3) To remove the hands, do I remove one by one, or both at the same time? (Hrs and min hands)
Im using this btw: http://watchbitz.com.au/shop/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=140

Thanks for any help :)

DO NOT UNSCREW the release. Just slowly turn it until you can pull out the stem. You will damage the keyless if you go to far.

Do this from the time set position.

Gently push the stem back in while slowly turning back and forth until the winding position. Then tighten the screw. ;)

Same time mate, just use some cling film, saran wrap or thin plastic to protect the hands. So use a dial protector and then over the top of the hands use the plastic. Also be very careful in applying pressure with those removers. It's not such a big risk because you dont have a delicate seconds hand pin to damage like on a 2813/2836 you can still damage the hands.

So its one plastic on the dial, and one more on top of the hands right? Thanks :)

How do I remove the the small PAM111 sec hand? seems too small to use that tool.

Yes, use a dial protector to keep from scratching the dial. The use some soft plastic wrap over the top of the hands when you remove them so that you don't damage them.

For removing the seconds hand, You can buy lever style removers for chrono hands which would be best option. Or failing that use a dial protector or slit of paper/acetate/whatever to protect the dial. Loosen the dial feet screws and then just lift the dial straight up take the seconds hand off the canon pin when it comes.
