The 16750 on the jubilee. I think I like it better than on the oyster.

Very nice rooster.

Mine is on jubilee too, much better looking than the oyster.........

But I like your dial a lot, with the Oyster Perpetual (without date inscription), where did you found it?

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys, glad you agree with the jubilee! I just have to find the right endlinks now (the current ones are incorrect and don't fit quite right). The jubilee gives the watch such a lovely retro look.

@Maxlawbr, well spotted! As you probably know, the 16750 came with two different types of dial: the first was matte like the 1675 and had no "date" print on it. After a year or so they went for a glossy dial with "date" and white gold indices. The matte dials are hard to find because they were used only for a very short time, and then they were systematically replaced with glossy ones when serviced. I really like the original matte 16750s because they are pretty much like the beautiful 1675, but with high beat and quick date. What more could you ask for? :) Anyway, I bought this from a guy in Germany who sells vintage stuff.

Thanks a lot rooster.

I'm not sure if mine is glossy or mate, I'll check tomorrow.

Hey Max, if the markers are applied and have the white gold surrounds, then the dial is glossy. If the lume markers are painted directly on the dial, the dial should be matte. Basically, the white gold indices/glossy dial combination is the same as the one found on the more modern GMTs. :)
