16622 rolesium question

So I started collecting with the promise I would never get a Rolex. Then about a month ago I bought a Sub-C from BK and I love the thing. I decided I would get another and of course gravitated to the Rolesium. I have read a ton about the SA3135 version and the reliability problems. My question is, is there a difference externally between the SA3135 and ETA2836 versions? I have no intention of ever opening my watch and was wondering if the two are identical other than the insides?

Most of it will be in the crown position. The SA3135 let's you get have a higher crown position. Although if you get one of Sean or BK's new YM cases, and an adapter ring you can get the high crown position with the eta movement.

I just bought the swiss eta version because the related problems with sa3135...
I guess that everything is the same, except the criwn position, wich for me is very far from being a problem...

Go with the eta2836--less problems from the start and no one will ever notice the crown position but if you get the SA3135 they will notice the crown missing once the stem breaks.

Look on the bright side, if the stem breaks your watch will still be right twice a day.

You mean the "TW Best" model that has the said ETA movement? If not you mind posting a link?

puretime "Angus" has confirmed that he only has 12 tw best left with the correct crown guards ,that was 2 days ago, needless to say there probably all gone by now, the eta version (non TW) has a nice dial color BUT the date window is over the stock ETA date wheel ,and not in the correct Rolex position (more left) , TW best Dials are too dark.. Pick your flaw and live with it...LOL
