Thanks, fellas. I learned a lot about the watch from all your guys' individual responses. As for wearing it with pride, believe me -- I do. We used to go holler at women together at the local watering holes and I wear this watch when I go hit a club/bar; almost like his spirit is watching me make a fool of myself.
Making a thread like this was important to me to learn more about the watch itself (i.e. I did not know that you could press the points on the side and adjust the watch in any way). I am worried that the band will break one day. I also take care to never expose the watch to water.
In case anyone is wondering, I'm hanging onto the watch forever.
@FrigPig - Thanks for the pic - so the watch is based on a "real" IWC model, eh? Cool. I wanted to put the watch in my sig one day but I didn't have a clue as to what it was supposed to be.
@ThinkBachs -- Schizophrenia is a b*tch. I'm so sorry for your buddy's ordeal. My buddy was also Schizo. I wish I knew more about the disease at the time so that I could save him. He said it was a result of dropping bad Ecstasy pills. I think he was genetically predisposed to it and maybe the pills kicked it in. It was very heartbreaking when I found out he jumped off a bridge. I'm still not over it. 2011 was a bad year.
Does anyone want to know the story of the watch and how it came to be in my possession? It's pretty funny.
