Wow another Puretime bashing, Angus seems to be getting it in the neck recently. China new year has just finished so dealers aren't really back up to full speed, maybe you could be a little more specific with the problems you are having!

Hi mate,

I bought a Rolex Sub SA3135 4 weeks ago. The watch is overall great but then there was this problem with the movement.

1. since 5 days ago the sub is stop moving after 3 to 4 hours after the last moving with the hand.

2. It's not keeping time, first is was +5 seconds. Now it's 20 minutes or more somtimes.

I think this is very disappointing for a sub of 400 dollar.

What do you think?

You can contact Nikki on their Live chat. She can help you with this kind of problem, she will send you a repair form to fill out and you have to return the watch back too China

Don't worry hosem, the same thing happened to me, i contacted them via live chat and Alice told me they were waiting for the factory to send them the QC pictures and that i should get them within a day or two. This was yesterday and i recieved the QC this morning.

So dont worry you'll get them.

I had an issue with a watch recently and it was dealt with immediately and we worked it out without any issues. They may be backed up with shipments.

Housem, I agree that PT should fix or replace with a new SA3135 movement. And, Angus, in my my opinion, is a good guy...so I am sure he will. The problem is you are going to get the same movement back (fixed or replaced) with what is turning out to have the same INHERENT problems with a growing chorus of complaints. So, most likely, sooner or later it will fail again. It would probably save you time, money and hassle in the long run to have it serviced locally. That way your local Watchsmith can really fix it, or tell you why it is always going to be unreliable. There are many owners of this movement that have just been "unlucky" to get the "few" bad movements, or...there are those owners that have been "lucky" to get the few movements that seem to be running okay. You have to choose which is the more likely scenario. My personal believe is Angus should probably stop selling this movement until the bugs are worked out.

Patience is key. As mentioned, CNY just finished. Further, it looks like puretime got rocked by some problems with their payment processors that they are sorting through. This affected many orders so it looks like they have their hands full at the present.

As hard as it is, try to be patient. I understand $400 is a large amount of money to spend on a watch have it break on you. If anything, contact a mod and see if they can expedite the solution to your problem.
