Sure it is, just not the way most watches are made. They maxed the traditional way out at 72k. They used a sonic resonator. Google bethune resonique

That's the only one ever made, and it's a glut on the market!!!
But...wait...I shouldn't sugar coat it...That's the fugliest watch I've ever seen...And I've seen a lot!!!!

Look at their lineup. They have some really nice pieces

Pix is right !! It is no possible in a mechanical watch.
The beat for this Bethune is 36.000 bph (very high in fact !!)

Yes I know, it is Ok for prototypes or experimental but not in commercial watches. The Bethune commercial have 28800 and 36000 bph

here is a video of the tag that has 3.6MM BPH really awsome. also claims to be 25 times more accurate than other watches because of the high beat rate.

I'll bet my dog turd to your dollar, that tag will need servicing after every 6 or so uses. lol Faster than a hummbird indeed.
