Well I was bored last night, and was tired of looking at this watch in my watchbox sitting there as I refused to wear it because of the dark dial, so I tore apart a Narikaa YM that I just acquired just for the dial, and swapped out the dial in the TW , what a difference a dial makes! it really "pops" now and I am now proud to wear it!
Now doing a dial swap on this case was a little tricky, first off as BK explained on the 1:1 Sean case about putting a eta dial in that case it must be trimmed first,and it's the same with the TW Best V1 case, since they both are from Taiwan they must originate from the same factory! then second, the TW best Ym uses a Rolex position date window as does most correct Rolex reps do, BUT most of the YM reps watches made these days are made with the "ETA" date position which is too far right... so my options were limited as far as a correct dial, which is really only a few, find a old noob dial, a WM9 dial (forget about that) , or the new sa3135 dial , BUT Narikka sources a YM with the "correct" Rolex date position with a decent dial color.. yes Narikka's dial has a few flaws, but the color is nice, and it doesn't have the "glitter" effect like some have..I can live with this till I source a better dial, Hey BK you listening?
