can you replace metal straps with fabric straps?

Hello- I am wondering is it possible to remove the metal strap from a submarniner and replace it with a fabric nato strap?

If so how do you do it?

Yes you can, which model did you want to do this with?

The only tool you'll need is a Springbar remover and that's it.
