My GEN and REP ROLEX DAYTONA

The Rolex logo of the Crown, The three "Dots" under the Rolex logo is different size. Rep is bigger than the Gen. (Top is Gen, Bottom is Rep.)

The Thickness of the case is a big flaw...you see the Gen is thinner than Rep.

The Bezel number is a problem.. You can see the Gen. bezel number is very close to the side, but the Rep is not... especially the 100 110 is quite far from the side.

I have a Gen White dial Daytona and Rep Black dial Daytona from a trusted dealer..

You can see the detail of the Rep also fine, I know some of the REP. the Red color text Daytona is not correct position, but this one is quite fine. but the color is too shiny..

I'm not nearly as picky as most of you guys, This watch would be just fine for me!

I was just thinking the same thing. When seen side-by-side, while noticeable (for sure), the thickness isn't as much of a "tell" issue as I'd think.

Guys the Daytona is not a bad copy..It is really unreliable..Thats why it is so infamous replica..
Anyway it seems a modder solved the problem..Maybe another bezel fitted would look better (if possible)...

The rep Daytona looks great, the only problem is wether the movt will last, otherwise on the wrist it's very hard to tell its fake.

i will tell u everythng i c! and i have a good eye :cheer:

pushers and crown: the quality looks def. better on the gen, it is sharper and thinner.

bezel: i stay with the replica , like ale said, on the pic the engraving looks better

rolex logo on the dial: better on the gen , more quality , sharp! on the replica is kind of thicker worst shape

markers : better quality on the gen, wtf is that marker at 5 on the replica ? :lol1:

chronos and seconds : : the circles are deep on the gen , like 3d , better quality of course on the replica it is at the same level of the dial

lettering on the dial : better printed on the gen

hands : looks the same to me on both

ok remeber my observations are based on the pics , if i had a macro pic would be amazing!
