MY son had the porsche... loved it but would have gone in a second if he could have the Aston. Long term you will have more fun with the Porsche its more of a classic IMO
The Mercedes is anybody's mall crawler, just not special as opposed to the Porsche or Aston

My vote would be the Aston first, the Porsche second, get a jeep wrangler or Range Rover in lieu of the Mercedes

Never buy an Aston or a Porsche out of warranty. That leaves the C63 which is damn near bullet proof and brutally fast. But you're young and you'll end up getting the Porsche. Just remember my comment when the first repair bill hits. Great to have those choices though at your age.

I have always loved the Aston v8, but I think its too old now and problems will occur with big bills! and I would be worrying that its going to break down on me every time I get in it!

I am tied 50-50 with the Porsche and C63 AMG.

Its something I want to run for 6-8 months for the summer, then Change for a RRSport or equivalent.

None. I'd prefer a 1967 Alfa Romeo GT 1300 Jumior.

The Aston is the most impressive to me, probably to most. I'm not a Porsche fan, but I can appreciate a 911 turbo all day long. The merc doesn't do much for me, because it isn't a sports car. For a saloon/sedan though I like it. I don't like it enough that I wouldn't be shopping a few Audi/BMW's in the same price range.

All too new for my liking, however...

At least the Porsche is a turbo so it has the 993 bottom end, so you don't have to deal with the stupid intermediate shaft bearing grenading the engine. I'd go for that.. it's a hell of a car. I like Astons but, well, that's kind of like the Junior Aston, ya know? And the CLK.. well, that's like a really fast C300 under the skin... not that... "special".

Of course, this is coming from someone who usually drives either a 51 or 57 year old car to work and thinks that Porsche stopped making cars in 1965.

The heart says Aston, the head says Porsche.
The Aston has the potential to be a money pit, I'd make doubly sure of a complete service record on that one.

The Porsche on the other hand as long as it's been kept well maintained should not be too much of a worry, it's the one super car you can drive every day if you wish.

I agree on that one trialboss!

But then my sensible head says c63.
Still young, but kinda of practical... and I can use it as a daily... without worrying about strapping my golf clubs to the roof haha

I don't like the 996 porsche. Most people here in Germany think it is the ugliest 911 of all times. In fact it's cheaper than a 993 in good condition.
Try to get a nice 993 or first generation 997.

I would prefer the c63, because of it's age, that porsche is almost 10 years old, the aston is probably from 2004-2006.

You could also try to find a Mercedes SL 350 or 500 (with the facelift, not the round headlamps) a bmw m3 coupe or series 6.

Nevertheless the Aston will make the biggest impression on people I think.

I'll throw something out there...

Chevrolet Corvette | eBay

A Corvette.

Not sure what your plans are, but they last for 200k miles, are old Volvo reliable, get nigh on 30 UK MPG on the motorway, cheap and easy to service and lots of fun.

Yes the interior is cheap, but they cost new (over here) less than $50,000 brand new for one like that.

If you ask us to pick between an Aston and a Porsche and wind up with a Merc, i'm losing all faith in you. Don't get me wrong, I like the Merc, but it is not a 911 turbo, and it certainly is no Aston Martin.

You only live once, and you could die tomorrow. Make the mistake of buying the Aston. (almost sounds like a demented Aston commercial)
