I am probably going to take Ruprekt's well thought out advice and purchase an MBK TT Blue 16613. But, I have to wait until the TD goes to Thailand to pick one up for me. Being impatient, I've searched around and found the below advertised "Noob" from Perfect Clones. I have read on here that the "Noob" TT 16613 are no longer available. Has this slipped by or is this not of the same quality (or watch) as the "Noob" reviewed by By-Tor?

It's not the Noob By-Tor reviewed that's for sure. The rehaut engraving is black? Is that a pearl or an ashtray? The bezel and dial don't look like the right color blue. How long until January? Be patient Dude. The MBW is far superior to this watch. Trust me. (Or you can buy this pile then realize you got screwed and then buy the MBW)

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I didn't want to make another "check out my qc pictures thread". However, can anyone give me any insight into this 16613 I've ordered, it looks like a noob to me but I'd like some expert advice, I know the crown guards look retarded in the first close up pic but I think it may be the angle of the photo because in the other pictures they look a bit more normal. Thanks

These are the two adresses for Josh's sites as listed on RWG. So I'm thinking the site that you're going to is a knock-off/copy.

As for the watch, the bracelet has the typical downfall- exposed steel on the sides of the gold SEL center links- yech!
But it may well be out of the noob factory, but keep in mind, things are always changing in the rep world- the SN looks like it may be a noob #- appears to end in 117.

Ninja's watch has the same exposed steel on the gold center links, but the case and dial look ok.

Not a noob, but older MBW, cyclops position and date position are big clues, not bad overall, noob is more accurate

The cyclops looks like it's in the eta position, I thought even the old MBW's weren't positioned like that.

I recently received an original MBW 16613 TT, Black/Gold I purchased from a RWG member. And the BK TW 16610 arrived at the same time too. In doing a side by side comparison of the two, I agree with ruprekt....the wait is "well' worth it. ( and Reg is the guy for the right ones.)
I was surprised and quite pleased with the MBW...great watch if you ask me. But I'm noticing something in the link for the listing you've posted. Regarding the Bracelet, why is going with the 18k instead of 14k 80.00 less. I would think 18k should be priced higher, not lower............?? You may want to take a closer look at that site you've linked to because that doesn't look like the site I see when going to see what Josh offers.....hi-jacked site maybe.

Thanks for that RSH, I always read though that MBW's were the best of the 16613's with the more solid feel etc, I just went through Bytors review of the 16613 MBW and Noobmariner. Is the version I'm getting this good version people talk about, or an inferior model.

The nowadays TT is a different watch from the one in BT review..
But it is good enouph..The only that stops me is the non gold sides on the end links...

I can't say the exact origin of mine but the MBW I just received has the sides of the hollow center links in gold too.

The one Ruprekt received hadn't..Also the pictures from Reg showed me the same..
Where did you got from??

p.s.
I wish it were a good edition with lugholes...

Mate this is two years old mbk..i said nowadays one..You aren't reading the posts good enouph..

It is great though....You took a good shot with this...Everyone who wants a good TT rep sub, can get only a used one...
