As you may know i have ordered a batch of straps from a local maker. It was interesting for me to see the manufacture process and i have asked the guy to take some photos. Unfortunately there are just 4 photos as he didn't always remember to take them. Enjoy

first he "polishes" the edges and when the surface is ready, he aplies the special paint, it remains elastic after it dries up that's why it doesn't crack, the only thing that happens to the paint in time, is that it loses some of the gloss as a result of wear and tear

I will talk to the maker the next week. This time there will be a small experimental batch of calf leather straps. I want some colorful ones.

Any suggestions on color color/stitch combinations ?
