GMT 1:1 Case from "Sean"

I remember reading some time ago about the so-called "Sean's Case" from etaswiss.net. I read about the YM and 16610 cases being good, but does anyone have any experience or info about GMT IIc cases?

I'm not sure how ordering from "Sean" works, but I did find this link:

Does he provide 1:1 GMT IIc cases, and if so how are they? I'm mainly concerned about proper rehaut engraving, as that's the main flaw with the V3 "Ultimate" GMT IIc.

The rehaut engraving looks quite nice, but the bezel engraving isn't deep enough. The SEL fitment looks good too. But what's with the red GMT hand....

There are reps with correct rehaut engraving.

There was one FS at repgeek for quite a while, in fact, last week. Dunno if it finally sold or not.

I'm waiting on crystals from Chief, I'm going to try AR'ed cyclops on this one. I have a finedd AR'ed cyclops on it now, but it needs the full gen-like treatment.

Speaking of--anyone heard from Uwe recently?

Does that AR'd cyclops make much difference to no AR?

I'm going to try the crystal and the cyclops AR in Chief's next run, then rub off the AR from the crystal around the cyclops. Might leave the AR on the inside of the crystal, leaving a small cyclops sized patch on the inside is probably too much of a challenge.....
