Bear Grylls, yes a double hard bastard but seriously, must he drink piss ALL the time? Or indeed eat things that plainly shouldn't be eaten unless you are about to gnaw your own ******* leg off. What say you merry men of RWG ( Not the other rwg, the faggy arsed gay as feck knitting circle who want to circle jerk but are forever alone cos of the t'internet)

I would be surprised if Bear was still alive in 5 years. Fate caught up with the Crocodile Hunter, and he wasn't nearly as crazy as THIS guy!

He's a freak of nature. Nearly paralysed when his parachute didn't open properly in the SAS, and when he was discharged he got himself fit enough to climb Everest, at 23, two years later.

Did he not once eat a bunch of South American rebels and a platoon of US special forces?

I believe the story was retold in the movie Predator.

He subjects himself to the elements, the forces of nature, and does all
these things just in order to stay alive, both for the sake of a tv show
and to open our eyes to what needs to be done in order to survive these
situations.
Is there a list of who the real men of this planet are?
I'd be surprised if his name isn't on it.

Bear is the man, but lets not forget the unsung heros aka the camera guys that followed him up that bridge and that tunnel.

+1 to that, it's always the "behind the scenes" people that help to make it all work!
Cheers to them!

While the name eludes me atm, he also did a doco with the FFL that is a really good watch.... No pun intended

He's a pretty impressive dude with regard to what he's been involved in before fame. He's no player - he's the real deal!
