For tonight, watch made up from pieces and parts. Not the prettiest thing in the world.
Ordered a blue sub from silix I'm going to use when it comes.
The dial was made out of a metal sticker.
Got 3 from eBay.
Have a feeling it will match well with that blue insert.
Cutting the date window is going to be rough.

Rolex Comex Sub
For Tuesday, gang, this vintage Comex Sub I acquired from... uh, Mark, I think; or, from Lay @ Replicamade. (I really DO have a short-term memory problem... .). Good looker, excellent lume, good time keeper; and, from a tip from a mate here, stopped off @ Target to pick up a nato or two strap. I'll put them on tomorrow & see which one I like -- or perhaps I won't like either. dave:

At our local Target, in the watches section, robb. Here @ the PA one, at the end of an aisle among some Timex Weekender watches. There were only three or four styles, so I picked up two to try them on. You may want to check out your local Target, Robb, to see if they have any.

They're just selling the straps? Interesting. I've never seen those at Target and I prowl there regularly lol. I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip! BTW what brand are the straps?
