Hello everyone, I just received a ceramic/steel bracelet for my HBB V1. I have removed the rubber strap but when going to put bracelet on i can not seem to get the end of the bracelet into the watch head far enough for the screws to line up with the bracelet holes. Does anyone have any ideas?? I do not want to damage it. All ideas would be more than welcome. Thank You

I think you have to lift up the ceramic end plates slightly.

On the v1 the plates are wedged in between the plastic piece and the case. It will need to be pulled out carefully. If you can't pull it, you can remove the bezel and the plastic piece to remove the end plates.

It will never fit correctly without the correct shorter strap covers, and no dealer sells the shorter strap covers alone. The factory simply will not sell them without the entire watch. So no dealer should be selling the bracelet as an accessory because you cannot get the parts to make it fit on any HBB except the V3 that comes with the bracelet already.

There is only one way to make the bracelet work on a V1. You have to buy a V3 HBB - the whole watch with the bracelet. Then you move both the bracelet and the short strap covers over to your V1.

In other words, a bracelet alone is worthless.

I realize some members have forced the bracelet onto the V1 using the stock long strap covers. This is done by lifting up the strap covers over the lip on the bracelet. IMO, that makes the watch look ridiculous. It also puts a lot of stress on the H-screws and they could snap and fall out. So I would not recommend that to anyone.
