Awesome watch. I noticed one thing about the TW crystals, they have that big laser etching and that "whitish" ring around the edge of the crystal. The gen and wm9s does not have. I'm being nit picky here.

My point is, if you replace the crystal with a clark crystal ( which does not have laser etching), will you still have that same whitish ring around the crystal?

A Pic to illustrate my point

Could this be due to the lighting effect? The 2 watches are of different angles. Perhaps the TW one caught light and hence showed a white ring?

That whitish ring still appears in all lighting conditions, I have a gen sub which does not have this "ring" at all ( More pics to come later) . and the whitish ring is becoming more and more glaring to me.... Damn this hobby :(.

Thinking of swapping crystals either with Clark(Cheap) , or Gen ( Expensive) but first wanna check with others who have their TW's from BK.

BR, sorry to cut your thread. Maybe I'll start a new thread regarding this issue later

I have two TW's, no whitish ring on either crystal and I am wearing one (subasaurus) as I type this. The white effect is reflection that happens at certain angles and is likely due to the white crystal gasket just below the table bevel on the crystal. Happens on my gen too and disappears when looking dead on.

The TW is the same as a WM9 V1.

Congrats on the LV, looks great. You picked a great combo!
