I got in a superlumed dial for my GMT IIc, putting it back together (again, must be the 4th or 5th complete tear-down I've done) now.

Which of these bezel inserts do you think I should use? Both have been painted. As far as I can tell, the only difference is skinny vs fat numbers, neither has the round "0"s. I have a bezel insert that has the round "0"s but it won't fit this bezel, it sits too high.

The fatter numbers look better to me. Nice rehault engraving alignment.

Use the one on the right.. It gives a more GEN-alike look IMHO..
...the shine and recesse of the numbers make it look like its been polished. If you look at a GEN, you will notice that the bezel is so shiny that sometimes you will even think the numbers aren´t recessed, like there was a glass cover over it, when it doesn´t.

the GEN insert is a hair curvy in shape, and not flat/straight like the reps..but definitely doesn´t have the curvy aspect of the one on the left there...

Cheers,
Spirit.

Has it 21j movement watch as a base??
Original case was from a 21j, used it due to the rehaut engraving alignment.

Swapped in a Swiss ETA + jumping GMT hand, and I just got the dial and hands back from RSH, he superlumed them. Waiting on my crystals to come back from Chief now, so I can try the AR cyclops mod.
