I'm "thinking out loud" but am asking for opinions.....of course a TT 16613 looks great with the TT bracelet....BUT...if one were to find it's way to a leather/skin strap what type of skin and color (with deployment) would suit the watch head nicely....(if any)...I myself think Black/Gold = mid to dark brown (sort of a dark goldish brown) with some sort of noticable texture...ie..eel skin or stingray ?? Any thoughts from the creative minds....?

I did a photoshop preview for a Rolex forum sometime ago to illustrate this same question...
I particularly don´t like straps that leave spaces between the head and the strap, so I did it as I think it would be interesting..I managed to put a Daytona strap on the Submariner, with those "half-endlinks" that the Daytona have. But we know that it won´t be easily possible for the Sub, as on the reps these endlinks are 'welded' (it seems to be) on the watch head.
But anyway...here´s the photoshop I did, just to show you the idea:

Just forgot to state that on my post, although I have done the photoshop, the Sub is best with its Bracelet. no leather, no NATO, nor whatever...

Spirit: Thanks for the posting. I like the looks of that....alot. That color skin matches/blends well with the watch...LOVE the end links too. In your opinion with a Black/Gold head what color would you say to suit it best ? I'm not asking anyone to pick out a skin band for me...I'm merely asking opinions and for some ideas. First off, I can't afford the gen bracelet and while there may be more affordable high quality plated rep/aftermarket bracelets available they're just a bit too "sparkly and flashy" for me...though I've always liked the looks of that particular TT watch head. Straps, Nato's, bands, etc. aren't for everyone and I happen to agree...Rolex looks best on a Bracelet. How might a SS Bracelet look on a TT Sub??
