Always a nice day when the door bell represents a new IWC!

Lovely watch, i purchased from MR and he was kind enough to put it on the spitfire brown leather strap as per my request.

I was a little skeptical buying this watch as everyone was replacing the crystal with a better AR version.
BUT..... I find that the AR on the standard REP is rather good, I was looking at the GEN last night of the spitfire and I don't think the AR different is noticeable at all.

I agree with you on the A/R thing, but ultimately for some of us A/R becomes an obsession, or rather an addiction. I'm obsessed, and likely addicted to great (IE: Aftermarket modded) A/R.

Don't mean to burst your bubble here, but if I recall correctly, the limited edition number of 250 on the caseback is only for the non-ss model (RG i think). For the ss model it runs up to 19XX

Love it! I want one I'm worried that the rep will get discontinued in the coming months. A lot of dealers don't carry it now.
