Hi Guys,
I've been a long time reader and lurker but this is my very first post and need some advice from everyone.
Here goes...
Late March I made a purchase to PureTime by reference of this site for three watches. A PO Chrono, Zenith Defey Extreme Chrono, and a Tag Carrera. All in all I spent over 1k and was very excited about getting the watches. I worked with Angus to resolve some issues I saw in the pre-ship QA and he's was great to work with and helped me resolve those issues prior to sending me the watches.
April 12th rolls around and I receive all three watches. The PO looked awesome and everything works perfectly (Chrono broke recently). But the Zenith has a stuck Chrono start button that locks the internals, and the Tag has a broken date wheel. I inquire about fixing this locally and it looks like I will pay much more than the original cost of the watches to get them fixed, so I reach out to Angus to arrange shipping them back for repair since I've had them for less than a day.
I received a repair forum from Angus and I follow the instructions to the T and mailed the two watches back insured and tracked. The package arrives May 20th and I inform Angus about it and told him to contact me if there is any info he needs or if there is anything he needs to tell me.
I being a very patient person wait about a month before asking the status. I was then informed everything is fine and maybe they forgot to send me a arrival notice for my watches. Then two weeks go by and I ask again and was asked to provide the tracking number so he can check. Turns out Angus sent me a revised repair forum with their old address on it. He told me not to worry and he will go and get it. Since then, I've sent an Email every two week to ask if it has been found and every time I get the same response, it's ok we will go look for it tomorrow.
It has been two and a half months now running on three and I don't know what to do. Angus ignored my last email a week ago and I really am not sure what else to do. I am out about $700+ for those watches and time wasted. It's way too late to claim on the insurance or have the package recalled and I feel a bit cheated. I've been nothing but patient and cordial and I've documented all of the emails I've had with him. At this point I am out of options, what else can I do?
I need some advise guys, how should I proceed?
Thanks in advance!
