Wearing a rep amongst friends and colleagues

I'm just about to pull the trigger on a DSSD from timeshop.

A few of my friends are into watches, they're not expert WIS, but a few of them wear TAGs, Omegas and fashion watches like Gucci and Armani.

Some of the replicas look so convincingly like the real deal that the average person wouldn't be able to tell the difference, a lot of them probably haven't seen the real one in the flesh.

Not sure how I would wear the Rolex.
Do I keep quiet about the source of it so they are all none the wiser? I mean they would probably assume it to be gen because I already have a gen Breitling and Omega.
Or should I just be open about it?
How do you guys do it? Do you tell people it's a rep if they ask?

If they ask I tell them, if they don't ask then I don't volunteer the info. As I have a Super Avenger more people comment on the size than ask if it's gen. Oh and I love your Avatar. Come on you Spurs!!

If youwanted to say its real. May sure you got yr story ready. Make sure it's not story about buying from AD from India will do. Usually, I just say I bought it at discount from friends.

To friends I happily tell them it's a rep. But if I wanted to say it was a gen I'd say I got it from Jomashop, or some other internet grey market seller. Seems plausible because it's where I'd probably buy a gen from given the discounts.

I suppose if you want to tell people it's real, there's nothing to stop you. Aside from being momentarily playful, the few people that show interest in my watches get told truthfully whatever they want to know. I hate lying.

Yes! Can't wait for the new season. Though I hope we can make a few new signings because Modric seems certain to leave.

careful around work colleagues!!!! if you earn 15k a year pretty sure your not rocking a dssd tag breitling etc etc,narrow how many watches you wear to work do validate the chance of it being gen.
