SO Abyss is nice but I don't think it's to the same quality that the H Factory Pams were. I'm not even a PAM guy and I went out and bought every one. They are just too good.

The models I listed are just for starters. I agree on the 177H. It was sold out pretty quick. What else has had a ton of buzz? :thinking:

Agree with the need for a new strap, but everything else is pretty much spot on with the new 005|111|112|176|177|318... particularly the closed caseback models.

I wouldn't consider a new strap a 'mod'.

The only thing that kept the SuperOcean Abyss from being #1 in my books is the strap. If they made the deployment clasp version of the Pro Diver, it would be the best rep easily, but the tang buckle is just too bulky on a small wrist with the strap overlay.
