I'll ask a couple of my local guys. I'm sure that its an easy part to find in the Gen world. :)

And maybe the replacement won't be so sharp. ;)

You might be able to epoxy the pieces back together?

you can use a pin as in pin and thread and cut the end insert it in the hole you see there

Just a dab of epoxy should hold it in there. Maybe?

Well, first off, replacing the whole clasp with a submariner clasp just while you wait for your part would make the watch at least wearable in this meanwhile.

Take a look at the watchbiz site indeed, our friend madcat was spot on at this hint =)

Cheers,
Spirit.

ANOTHER UPDATE...

We'll you're not going to believe this but I found the other side of the pressure pin on my bookshelf!

However I still need 1 spacer/washer like pieces that go on the ends - they are tiny! Any suggestions on those?

Go get an eyeglass kit. Find a screw that will fit or one that can be modded to fit. Then grind and polish the slot and shape the head to match. Epoxy. For the spacers use some spring bar tubes? Sorry you had an issue with it, hopefully it will be an easy fix. Good luck buddy. :)

I think I will ask my guy if he has a replacement (Pressure Pin) for my clasp. That thing is sharp!

Thanks R2D4 - will cut up some spring bar tubes. Does the gen clasp have spacers too?

REPAIRED!!!

I ending up buying these 1.0 mm Rivet Pins (the more common 1.2mm ones would have been too thick) for which I needed the 18mm length one: http://www.ofrei.com/page478.html#16536

And then I purchased a 1.5 mm Band Tube Refill: http://www.ofrei.com/page1196.html#22131

Finally I cut the Band Tube refill using this Jeweler's Saw making two 2mm wide "washers" to replace the ones I lost: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Jewelers-Frame-Intricate-Cutting-Blades/dp/B00313Q46M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1310077914&sr=8-1"]Amazon.com: 1 Jewelers Saw Frame w/ 12 Intricate Cutting Saw Blades Tool: Home Improvement@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31Ptz4tnDqL.@@AMEPARAM@@31Ptz4tnDqL[/ame]

AND I fixed my refrigerator which broke today as well...

mel, thanks loads for the pics I never realized exactly how this was made. I always thought it was a solid pin that was "riveted" on each end.
