OK - I know what it is.
But here is my observation over the last year or so:
When looking at Subs with engraved rehauts, it seems that quite often the 21J movement models have properly aligned rehauts (i.e. the "R"s and "X"s line up with the hour markers where they are supposed to), but almost none of the high-beat movement models have the aligned engraving. Low-beat ticking drives me nuts, but a poorly aligned rehaut is even worse.
WHY?
Do they use a different rehaut ring? It seems the rehaut should be universal across all movements. I'm very curious.
Anyone?
