Cartier Roadster - Chronograph - Does a Good Rep Exist?

I've read through many of the forums and see that most people say a good rep for the Roadster Chronograph doesn't exist. That there are too many problems with it. I also can't seem to find one on any of the trusted vendors' sites.

I actually really prefer the Chronograph but will listen to reason. Does anyone know what's wrong with the Chrono version? Should I definitely avoid it?

If I have to go non-chrono which of these two looks better? Or am I missing a better rep?

Plan on pulling the trigger today. Anyone have any last minute feedback. Can't decide which Roadster rep is better or if I should go with a chrono which is what I really want?

Thank you. What do you prefer about the Perfect Clones version than the other two. I can't seem to find the differences?

that's the big main difference between the pc one and Lay's.

$448 for the Perfect Time Chrono. $318 for the non. That seems like a huge jump?

I def like the look of the chrono more but don't know enough about its flaws. The non-chrono is being advertised as "Made from Genuine", etc.

The movement in the chrono costs more, hence the price jump. "made from genuine" is just advertising talk, I wouldn't pay attention to that.

that puretime chrono has incorrect roman numerals, the pc one is pretty much dead on gen.

Puretime is a good option, the tachymetre dial has now been discontinued on the gen, but imo looks a lot better than without, just takes that over dressyness away from it.

Go white dial with tachy, the blue hands are wrong colour! Chrono the only way to go imo and this is pretty close, $450 is pretty good, Cartier gen $6/7000+ and you cannot get this model anymore, I cannot see many people recognising the flaws with this model, unless your a Cartier fan................add to basket!

The screws in the case are slightly smaller than gen, but ive even heard of them being fitted, apart from this unless side by side, a good rep
