Hi, Gang!

This "voice" from the past is one of the first watches I purchased while recovering from my brain surgery in early 2007; it's what got me interested more in watches than ever before. I was watching "ShopNBC" watch time and this thing came onto the screen. It looked enchanting and very different -- and came on a sharkskin strap. I just had to have it, so I purchased it; the rest is history -- I was hooked. Funny thing is I've only worn it a couple of times and haven't worn it since '07. It's case is 50mm in diameter, 11mm thick & weights about 120 grams, is quarrtz Japanese movement & works well, as does the Chrono. What do you think? Here's the pics. dave:

Nice watch; looks good on you. I've been tempted to try something that humongous but I'm not sure how a 50mm watch might look on my 165mm wrists. Anybody else out there with skinny wrists care to weigh in?

Man, I don't understand how you can wear your watches so tight on your wrist! Looks like it would cut off circulation :D

Actually, it's not that tight -- just the extra flab on my wrist (heh). If I wear it too loose, the heavy watch swings around to the edge of my wrist & afterwards on the underside. Your astute observation gives me motivation to lose some weight!! :biglaugh:
