This one is close... It's 40mm & probably a fantasy, but I think all other specs are met.

Well those are really close and I appreciate everyone's help, even the mean people, but I think I've settled on this one..

I do appreciate it. I think I've found one and when the Silix web site is back up I'll post a pic.

All right, I was fully prepared to buy a hand-wind Piaget from the Silix web site, but the damn thing has been down all day long. So I was browsing the bay and found this Russian watch and fell in love immediately. $50 shipped from Moscow.

Not a rep :( But at 33mm it called "Wuggy, Wuggy"

Then I started looking up "Slava" which is the watch brand and found they were mostly really simple and small. And then I saw their "director of corporate purchasing" and thought oh shit I'm living in the wrong country!

I have a few vintage gens from the 40"s & 50's which are in the 33mm range. I happen to like them. Your new pick has a vintage look, so IMO the size is fine.

Well this is the one I WAS going to get from Silix, before their site went down:

(It's 33mm apparently as well). That's def my style, call me old-fashioned, but when I wear simple watches like that I get compliments from broads, and when I wear sports watches I don't. I think the simplicity and delicacy of them tends to draw the female eye, whereas the Brietlings of the world are so complex that women just tend to pass over them, unless the sheer blingy size of them is attention-drawing.

Uh oh, you started in with the Russians. It is hard to stop, let me tell you. In-house movements, interesting history, cool watches and all that often for under $100.

So the thing finally came, looks great on me! Case is 32mm wide, 33mm high. I think this size looks perfect on my (small) wrist. You can see why I hate big watches!

Will look grate with a soot.
