I don't think this is a repost... and I tried the search function and didn't find anything. Anyways I thought that this might be a good comment box type post.

So here's what I'm thinking... Everyone seems to have some type of positive and negative feedback on the Trusted Dealers here, so why not get a collective opinion on why you like a certain dealer.

This way they can get our opinions, gauge their competition and also learn what to do to make their services better.

Lets keep the format something like

1. Name of the Trusted Dealer

2. Why he's your favorite and give examples

3. Feedback (what he needs to improve on)

so I'll start...

---------------------------------

DEALER 1
1. Name of the Trusted Dealer
-PureTime / Angus

2. Why he's your favorite and give examples
-great pictures on site
-willing to workout solution if problem arises (will write another post on this)
-gives discount for WesterUnion.
-able to source parts

3. Feedback (what he needs to improve on)
-Could improve PM turnaround time
-better QC pics with video

----------------------------------------------------------

DEALER 2
1. Name of the Trusted Dealer
-ReplicaMake / Lay

2. Why he's your favorite and give examples
-awesome QC pics with Video
-fast shipping time
-Only dealer so far that "Guarantee's waterproofing"

3. Feedback (what he needs to improve on)
-communication turn around time a little slow

2. Why he's your favorite and give examples
-very good for newbies
-QC pictures and video
-nice and friendly, easy to communicate with.

3. Feedback (what he needs to improve on)
-very disappointed with his communication lately. Recommended him to a friend who sent him an email about a watch. He never replied. I have also tried both email and live chat about the same watch but he never answers. Don't know why he does this.. If he doesn't have it in stock he can easily reply with an "out of stock, sorry".

I think it's b/c there's a feedback section, that is really where this would b helpful. Also most of what I've read dealers have ups and downs, there not perfect, but the 1s on this forum r trusted b/c they have to prove themselves. I've only bought from 3 ppl here 1vip and 2 dealers and all were over and above. With Timeshops mark pmd me more than I him. Giving me status ect. 2nd order I asked 4 something specific as I was building my own piece and using parts from all 3 purchases. Anyway I sent him a pic of the part of watch I wanted a little thicker (don't think his engl is 100%, but then my Chinese is 0%), and he hooked it up, even sent the watch w/ there waterproof package no charge, I never asked 4 that & told him no worries I understand how busy he is and if it were trouble to pick what I was looking 4 don't do it. He did.
Bk was another being new he's like a celeb around this place, I thought I'd never get a reply. However he did and we had several conversations, sent package promptly and nicely wrapped. He's now checking some old stock 4 a part I need with a full time job and family+ who knows how many pms a day that's pretty bad ass.
All I'm saying is your experience with a dealer is going 2 have a lot 2 do with how u communicate w/ them. This is a great place and I'm so glad I found it. I trust all of the dealers these guys say are trustworthy, and with what's being sold it's not that easy sometimes, so experiences will differ I guarantee.

I like this thread, seems like an ok idea to me, it does take a long time of digging around to find this simple info.

Plus feedback is just feedback, but this shows who is using who. Guess people don't want to let their dealers know who they are using... :)

I saw his name come up on another forum so that's why I was asking.

Is Puretime a good site to order from ?

Reliable, good product, fair price ?

Any other site that is preferrable or are they the "go to" site ?

Thanks

I think it's opinion since a few trusted dealers on here use the same factory. What initially drew me to Puretime was his fantastic site, and the fact that he responded to my email in a matter of hours. To me, he goes above and beyond with communication. I've had full conversations over email with instant responses, and he's asked how I like my last two orders after I got them. Just this morning, they sent QC pics of my AP ROO Safari, but it was on leather when I ordered a rubber strap. They responded in less than 10 minutes, and told me they would take care of it. If something can be sourced from Puretime, then I'll buy from them over anyone else.

Rooster made a great overview of the dealers some time ago.
I cannot find it now, but do hope he will update it.

His overall satisfaction measure is very useful.

click the link on the bottom of my signature "trusted dealers list" that will take you to all the Trusted Dealers of RWI... depending the type of purchase you are looking for will depend on certain dealers.

Example

1. replicamake - awesome QC, pics and vid but more expensive
2. Timeshops - super cheap deals but horrible QC.
... etc...

Sellers Name: MR

Feedback:

Pros: Really competitive prices(infact way cheaper then other sellers), Prompt communication & provides help to newbies

Things to improve: Website(Its dreadful.never works on firefox), bit more participation in specials and communication errors
