Hey guys, I heard that people are saying that the best hublot big bang replicas where the old batch of V1's. (Quality wise)

Is that true?

Are the newer V1's made with cheaper material than the ones 2 years ago?

Looking for an expert answer

Best regards

All V1's are the same but there is the V1 lite (or V1.5 as some like to call it). It comes from the same factory but it is not of the same quality as the proper, premium V1 and the price reflects that. The V1 is around $650 depending on the model while the V1 lite is around $250 or so. Regardless of it being represented as lower quality I don't think the difference in quality between those two is worth the extra $400

Can anyone justify the 400 $ difference between V1.5 and premium V1.

Is the finishing better? Is the metal or coating better in any way? I remember the comparaison thread between V1.5 and V1 Ice Bang mentioned alot of flaws in the V1.5. Even the texture of the plate lugs is not close to V1 and to the genuine.

Need expert opinion! ; )

You just mentioned a couple of things yourself. You're asking a question that you already know the answer to from that thread. Everything about those two models has been covered in the comparison thread. I'm not really sure what else what else you want to know.

If you think the texture of the plate lugs us worth an extra $400 then go for it. If someone knows what to look for in an HBB to recognize it as a rep, he'll spot it regardless of whether you have the V1 or the V1.5. For everyone else, I doubt they'll even know what the hell Hublot is.

I don't know how much of an expert opinion you want but I really don't think there's anything else to add here. If there is, anyone feel free chime in
