Hi, Gang!

I've been reading a lot of posts from mates who state they purchased 3, 4, 5, or more reps at one time (something I wish I could do).

Just out of curiousity, how many reps (on average) do YOU purchase at one time/in one order from a TD?

Thanks!

dave

(I am curious...)

I'm usually purchasing one at a time with the trusted dealers, sometimes 2 to save on shipping...

Trying desperately to keep to 1 watch a month, but my order from Lay was two at a time. All the others have been single purchases from other members or other TD's.

i usually do 3-4 at a time, then pay WU for the discount. Depending on what dealer you use you can save 10%-15% off, and at that price range it becomes well worth it.

you save 10-15% for WU payment but its costing you as much in fees to send the WU doesnt it?

We've had this discussion somewhere before, but from the US the fee is $10, although it varies a lot country by country. If I buy $600 worth of watches from lay I get $90 off. I pay a $10 processing fee. I still net $80 off.

If you take cash to a WU agent it's pretty reasonable. If you go through the WU web site with a CC it's ridiculous...

I usually wait and buy 2-5 at once... saves shipping and some dealers give a small discount/freebies ;)

Try to keep it at 2 at a time to save shipping and not get customs suspicious. If I go for more than three at once I'll get the shipments staggered so a bunch of watches don't show up in customs at once.

Always one at a time for me, always (I don't mind the extra shipping charges)... I "feel" it's safer. So far I haven't had a problem yet; I have received every order without pause.
