I think you could probably just see through the holes on the spring bars. Just shine a light and see if it's hollow or not.

First watch purchase here, I was so pleased went back to the well for second for gift to Dad. They have given good service and excellent time keeping, spot on 3 weeks running based on cell phone time set.
I have one that was a Silix bargain Sea Dweller - not sure if it's exactly the same as the one they are selling today. However, yes, it has flaws, yes, it has crappy lume. But it keeps time like a champ. And yes, the End Links are hollow. For 30 bucks it's not a bad rep. I switched to a Maratac Bond (the bracelet is so-so) and it has become a couple of days a week beater.

Is the sea dweller offered by Timeshops a noob? I thought they were out of production.
It doesn't have the ceramic bezel look. It probably follows the older designs before the ceramic bezel era. The clasp is also the older design of sub-m
As others have said before, this isn't a sub. It is a SEA-DWELLER. I have had several of these. They are not very accurate but make GREAT beater watches. After all, I am the beater watch KING!
