well after patiently waiting for my BK purchase to arrive, it finally got here today and all i have to say is HOLY F****N S**T......I've seen many pics and read numerous posts about his work before i made my purchase but when i unwrapped it and saw it in person i was blown away...

The piece is absolutely stunning, very sharp look and solid feel to it. I asked BK if he can have it re-lumed before he assembled it so he sent it out and this thing glows like a torch and the color is spot on to the gen lume. He also did his pearl mod and i must say it looks very good(the pics dont do it justice).

I must say BK was a pleasure to deal with and has answered every single question i had very promptly. Will definately purchase from him again.

these are just a few pics i had a chance to take before my slr batt died and for some reason its not charging anymore. So i will try to add more pics tomorrow.

how long did it take until delivery with the re-lume? also, who did bk send it out to? was it PBDAD? I have a DSSD on order and i wanted him to send out to re-lume also. thanks.

I ordered it feb 18th and he shipped it out march 25th, so exactly 5 weeks. Yes he sent it to PBDAD

I would like to compare the lume on this to the standard lume, I think the intensity versus the pearl lume will be telling.....Were the hands relumed as well ??

unfortunately i have come to the conclusion that i cant take a lume shot if my life depended on it... i have tried everything but i just cant seem to get a good shot. time to start reading the photo skills posts and see if i can come up with some needed info

yes, pearl, hands and dial were all re-lumed

yes exactly, it was Pbdad. at first i was a bit skeptical when BK said he was sending it there but then i did some research on him and became pleasently surprised with his work. And rightfully so he did an amazing job. Im not sure how long a lume charge is supposed to last, but last night i placed the watch under a uv light for about 20 seconds to charge it and this morning at 7:30 i can still see a slight glow.

It is a very stunning piece, especially with the Maxi dial. I got mine from Robert at T4D. It has the same S/N as yours. I guess this is common among reps.
