Ouch. I learned the hard way - mask off the crystal with some minimal-stick masking tape before you do anything around it.

Look at it this way though, now you can invest in some awesome "disappearing crystal" AR from one of our modders

I always ccc my watches when I get them to clean them up..this was apparently the first one with AR on the outside of the crystal. Went ahead and took the rest off so at least it's evenly reflective...
