2813--> 4813 movement swap?

Recently found a good deal on a Asian 4813 movement...pretty much a high-beat A21J, operating at 28.8k bph. How hard would it be to swap this movement into a 21J-powered watch? Straight swap, drop-in-and-go? Or is it trickier than I'm thinking it's going to be?

definitely trickier man... anyone know why they don't just make these to the size needed for reps?

Perfect Clones sells a 4813-powered 42mm PO with correct everything for $128, so someone DOES make the right size...I figured I'd buy a few of these movements and swap them into my existing A21J pieces. Is the only issue the hour cannon?

The guy says his hour wheel is high enough for good mounting of the hand...1.55 versus 1.51 for most other DG 4813's...

I was about to do the same swap until I read this

Hand size should not be an issue - 100/150/17 on both.

Difference is at the dial feet position (which can be overcome) 2813 (around "28" and "54") 4813 ("25" and "55"). Also stem height 2813 (2.5mm) vs 4813 (1.8mm) But 4813 is so cheap so why not give it a try anyways.

I've got a 2813 and a 4813 and tried a swap last night for fun. One set of hands fit (Bvlgari Diagono, but the Rolex 2813 hands don't fit the 4813) so ymmv

Hmm. Did you get the dial on there with the hands that fit? That's what I was worried about.

I never had an issue upgrading any of my Breits or Omegas from a 2813 to a 4813. Hands fit the movement perfectly on the 4813.

Which models from each brand did you upgrade, specifically? My Breits and Omegas are the exact ones i'm thinking about upgrading...

Where can you get hold of a 4813 movement? I'm stuck!
