Nah, that movement is just an ETA movement but Breitling modified it and added a split second function. Also the pushbuttons are some kind of a Breitling patent. Apparently there is absolutely no mechanical contact between the buttons and the movements. It's all magnetic or whatever

OMG, went into local jewellers in the City this lunchtime - Blackbird Black Steel is absolutely stunning. And £6000. I sooooo want one - has anyone bought one yet? The rep, that is?

It's SUPER-quartz :thumbsup: Tho to be honest, I'd have to agree with you as there are a lot of nice automatics in that price range.


It's just that the Seawolf is one of the best looking watches from the Black Steel limited editions.

The gen Blackbird is an automatic indeed but we were talking about another watch being quartz; the Seawolf Black Steel

No link unfortunately; I PM'd him asking for the Skyland Black Steel and he came back with the Seawolf Black steel on a PVD bracelet. $175 IIRC, and I'm sure he still has/can stock them.

It looked pretty good, but I didn't really go over the pics thoroughly TBH because I was looking for a Skyland Blacksteel. The dial looked good. The only glaring thing I noticed was the bracelet vs. the rebber on the gen...I think the logo was wrong though.
